Steamboat Willie is the star of Disney100 Decades collection series 1. We found the plush set, Loungefly backpack, and pins earlier this week.

A new sensory friendly “Toy Story” youth shirt can be found in Creations Shop.

Disney Critters are now featured on a set of 4 metal plates. These plates would be great for camping at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campgrounds.

We spotted Remy giving us the “chef’s kiss” as we shopped at Creations Shop.

Chewbacca also reminded us to stay strong on our journey through the crowds of EPCOT.

EPCOT’s International Flower and Garden Festival begins next Wednesday. Global Gardens have begun to spring up. We saw this one taking shape behind the popcorn stand in World Celebration.

It looks like it will hold bird houses.

Even more topiaries have taken their place around EPCOT. Mickey and Minnie are having a picnic and are joined by Chip ‘n’ Dale, and Pluto. Last year, Pluto and Chip ‘n’ Dale were located in the America Pavilion.

Butterfly topiaries have been placed in the World Showcase Promenade.

The huge Goofy topiary is at the end of the World Showcase Promenade this year. Last year, he was placed at the entrance of the park.

Disney Traders has been taken over by all things Marvel. Today, we noticed that four new banners are hung around the center of the store.

The are a play on travel advertisements.

Have you ever noticed a small wooden statue of Kristoff on the side building of Frozen ever after?

Even Sven makes a debut.

Two new advertisement posters have been hung in the Amani Village, otherwise known as the African Outpost. We also noticed new signs for the Amani Village Traders and Wachongaji Wood Carvings.

Kermit and Ms. Piggy topiaries have moved from the Germany pavilion to in between the Morocco pavilion and the France pavilion.

We got a surprise visit from Merida! She was out for a stroll because her father invited all the suitable princes to meet her.

On our way out of EPCOT, we saw “The Lion King” topiaries. They are in the same spots as last year at EPCOT’s International Flower and Garden Festival.

While passing the ticket booths at the Transportation and Ticket Center, we noticed that Magic Kingdom is completely unavailable for today. We quickly looked on My Disney Experience and saw that Genie+ had reached it’s all time high of $29/person, once again. The last time Genie+ was priced that high was around the holidays.

The walkway between Disney’s Grand Floridian and Magic Kingdom has been boarded up as construction begins on the Sago Cay building of the resort.

Vans items are still 40% off at Main Street Cinema, though very few items remain.

The transformation of Splash Mountain to Tiana’s Bayou Adventure continues. Another hole has been cut into the facade.

Aboard the PeopleMover, we can see that Tomorrowland Light & Power Company has added a new glass panel to the facade. This could be a new window display, or a new entrance.

Four new youth shirts are available in Star Traders. The one above features Bambi, Thumper, and Flower, and the one below depicts some of the Disney Princesses that are “besties” and “just vibin’.”

Above is a salmon pink “Aristocats” shirt and below is a tie-dye Rainbow Unicorn shirt, which is sensory friendly.

Prince Charming’s Regal Carousel is down for the second day in a row.

As we headed through Liberty Square, we got caught by the Festival of Fantasy Parade crowd.

It’s extremely crowded. Being a holiday weekend, we expect nothing else.

We’re ending our day doing a little browsing through the Emporium. We only found one new item, this Meeko crafting kit.

On our way to Magic Kingdom, we saw work beginning on the walkway to the park from Disney’s Grand Floridian.

Signs have been placed at the entrances of the walkway. It’s closed until further notice.

Roof work continues at Narcoosee’s restaurant.

“The magic is calling!” What has been your favorite part of the 50th anniversary celebration?

Uptown Jewelers is where you will find the newest Dooney & Bourke collection. It features Walt Disney’s Mickey Mouse “The Band Concert.”

This collection contains a wallet, satchel, handbag, and Annual Passholder Exclusive Tote.

As we walked past Main Street Cinema, we noticed a new Valentine’s Day Minnie-Shaped cinnamon roll. It was too cute to pass up. We recommend asking for this warmed and pairing it with your favorite coffee beverage.

Another piece of the vintage Fantasyland collection has been added to the shelves at Fantasy Faire. The tumbler depicts the Dumbo flying over “it’s a small world” on the front and “Fantasyland” in teal on the back.

Time for a quick pop into Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

We can now see the entry artwork around the door.

The planters do jet out into the walkway, so take caution when traveling through the land.

New Hollywood Tower Hotel phone cases can be found at Rock Around the Shop. We recently found these, amongst other designs, on the maDe Kiosks.

“Best Date Night Ever,” we beg to differ. A new Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway open edition pin at Shop ‘n’ Roll.

Fantasmic! is back to two shows per night.

The Hollywood Brown Derby is still missing its neon signage. We are hoping it returns soon.

It’s all sunshine in Toy Story Land. We did a quick check-in at Roundup Rodeo BBQ and found no new changes. The new family-style restaurant opens on March 23, 2023.

Droid Depot boxes can now be recycled! You can drop your unwanted boxes in this new recycling bin.

Everyone wave goodbye to Gertie! Let’s hop onto the Disney Skyliner and explore some of the resorts.

First stop is Disney’s Art of Animation. It looks like crews are still working on refurbishing the exterior of the resort.

If you need a quick gift for your Valentine, don’t worry, because Ink & Paint shop has you covered. Long stemmed roses are on sale for $9 each. There is a hidden gift on these flowers as well. Do you see it?

It’s the DisneyQuest logo! The long-gone attraction has been resurrected on the paper of these flowers.

A new Limited Edition Dooney & Bourke MagicBand featuring Walt Disney’s Mickey Mouse The Band Concert. This MagicBand is part of the coming soon hang bag collection.

The MagicBand features character from the film, including Mickey Mouse as the conductor, Donald Duck playing the flute, and Paddy Pig playing the tuba.

It is Limited Edition of 2,620.

Across Hour Glass lake at Disney’s Pop Century Resort, we found a new spirit jersey. This Wakanda Forever spirit jersey is $79.99 and located at Everything POP Shop.

We head over to Disney Springs for even more shopping. This first thing we noticed is the new posters hanging from the AMC theatres. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania debuts on February 17. Are you excited to see it? You can watch the trailer here.

New open edition attraction pins can be found at Pin Traders. We found a new “it’s a small world” pin featuring Mickey and Minnie in an attraction boat admiring the ride.

We also found two new Soarin’ Around the World pins. The pin on the left is set on a pair of pilot’s wings, while Pilot Mickey is on the other.

“Chillin'” is exactly what we do at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon. This new pin depicts Stitch with a pineapple drink and Typhoon Tilly in the background.

Cartoonified Star Wars characters has found their way onto this new water bottle.

“This is the way.” New Mandalorian sketch art apparel, and travel mug, have arrived at Star Wars Galactic Outpost.

We also saw this new Hoth ball cap.

“I want to be where the people are.” Then you need to visit World of Disney on a weekend. At World of Disney we found a new vintage styled Mickey Mouse cup.

Then we saw these new Ariel scrunchies.

And finally, we found four new compact mirrors. These mirrors are very heavy and sealed. So buyer beware because you won’t know if you get a broken mirror.

On our drive to Magic Kingdom, we saw new blue road signs had been installed overnight. The new over pass to Floridian Way has also been completed and opened.

Cinderella Castle is looking magical in the morning sunlight.

PhotoPass photographers are now sporting all new eco-friendly costumes. These costumes can be seen all over property, except on Main Street, U.S.A. Those Cast Members are wearing the knicker-styled costumes.

More details have been added to the construction walls surrounding Splash Mountain.

Metal signs saying, “Tiana’s Foods Employee Owned Coming Soon!” are hung every couple of feet.

A wire netting has been placed over the open hole that workers cut into the facade. Most likely this is used to keep animals out.

Good morning to Big Al and Liver Lips.

TRON Lightcycle Run has installed the test seats at the entrance to the attraction. Only 5 more days until Cast Members get to preview!

We found two new mystery pin boxes at Frontier Trading Post.

A new “COCO” 500 piece signature puzzle is at Plaza del Sol Caribe.

Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort has swapped out the old for new. New floral rugs are slowly being rolled out in the lobby. We spotted two already installed.

It’s been a while since we did a Disney Springs loop, so it’s off to do some shopping.

Disney Springs loop isn’t complete without a trip to Gideon’s Bakehouse. With it being the first of the month, Gideon’s has swapped it’s Limited Edition cookie. For the month of February, they brought back The Eternal Flame.

Class of 2023 can graduate in style with this new Mickey ear graduation cap. We found it at World of Disney.

We also found a new Mickey Mouse lunch tin and parrot inspired mug, seen below.

A brand-new Mickey & Co. collection can be found at World of Disney. How adorable are these youth Crocs?

We like the youth Crocs over the adult Crocs.

The throw plaid of the collection features Mickey and Minnie.

We’ll be packing our lunch from now on in this perfect Mickey head lunch tin.

No Walt Disney World collection is complete without a hand soap dispenser. PRO TIP: they are still $12 each when you purchase two.

The collection also includes a bath rug, a shower curtain, and a hand towel.

Bold colored Minnie Mouse backpack, matching wristlet, and youth sweater look like they can be part of the Mickey & Co. collection but, they belong to the Mickey & Friends collection.

We then saw a new youth Spirit Jersey. This Jersey is grey with Mickey Mouse on the front, and Pluto on the back.

This next item is hard to miss. It’s a button-down shirt featuring Thomas O’Malley the alley cat from “Aristocats.” This shirt is so busy it hurts our eyes to look at.

Lastly at World of Disney, we found the new Disney Critter Collection. It depicts different Disney critters over different items of merchandise, including some for your pet.

This collection includes a Frisbee, dog bowl, cat bowl, and so much more.

We’d love to see the Loki variation described as “low-key.”

Two new open edition Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster pins are available at Pin Traders.

The Fantasyland merchandise continues to roll in. Another piece, these bell-bottom velour pants, can be found at Disney Style.

We’re ending our day at Marvel Superhero Headquarters, where we saw a new throw blanket, wall art, and matching pillow.

TRON Lightcycle Run is getting ready to open on April 4th. Have you realized that 404, TRON Lightcycle Run’s opening date, is a computer error code?

We can see that test seats have been installed in front of the back drop.

The cleaning and painting of Space Mountain continues.

Part of Tomorrowland Light & Power Co. sign has been covered up. This could mean that it is being renamed or just freshened up. You will have to stay tuned to find out.

Inside of Big Top Souvenirs, at the maDe Kiosks, we found two new “Guardians of the Galaxy” phone cases and a matching Apple Watch band.

Enchanted Tales with Belle is set to reopen after 3 years on February 19th, and today, we saw film crews outside of the entrance queue.

Fantasyland fans rejoice because new merchandise keeps rolling in. A new hat can be found at Fantasy Faire next to Mickey’s PhilarMagic.

Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe is undergoing refurbishments to the middle section of the store. It’s blocked off at either end and the middle door is shut.

The end sections remain open at this time.

We were able to catch Mickey’s Celebration Cavalcade on our walk to Frontierland.

The Splash Mountain signage is still up, for now, and the Pressed Pennys are still out. Grab them while you can!

We’re watching Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire on the castle stage and then headed out.

After our slow and jerky monorail ride back to the TTC, we found the culprit of the monorail downtime. It’s Stitch! We’re just joking around but, we do hope whoever lost their Stitch plush finds him again.

The Walt Disney Studios water tower was one of the first structures completed at the new Burbank lot in 1939. Mickey Mouse and the studio logo were added in 1984.

Mickey Mouse Boot Bookends – $59.99

Mickey puts his foot down to ensure your books remain where they are supposed to be.

His iconic boots come on a faux marble base in this set of bookends. The set includes two different boot designs.

Mickey Mouse Photo Frame – $29.99

The ceramic photo frame features Mickey at the top and a background of what Disney describes as “faint diagrammatic design showing how all the various elements of Walt’s vision for his empire tie in with each other.”

The design continues onto the frame itself, with buildings like “WED” and “MAPO,” historic parts of the Disney Parks empire as well.

It has a hinged stand but does not have a hook for hanging.

Mickey Mouse Light-Up Memo Board – $79.99

This memo board is modeled after the traditional animator’s drawing desk as found at the Walt Disney Studios, which featured a backlit disc with registration pegs for drawing paper, used in hand-drawn animation so artists could see their continuity of poses.

It has a pen holder bar for use with an erasable pen or dry-erase marker (not included).

The board measures 15” H x 15” W x 2 3/4” D. The light-up feature requires two AA batteries.

Mulan’s Lunar New Year Procession

Since 2023 marks the Year of the Rabbit in the Chinese and Korean zodiac, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit gets a place of honor on a small float.

Ortensia makes her US parks debut alongside Oswald the Lucky Rabbit in a meet and greet at Paradise Gardens gazebo. The two greet guests separately.

“Hurry Home” World of Color Lunar New Year Tag Returns

The tag follows a red paper lantern’s journey home as it encounters Mushu and Mulan and enjoys a Lunar New Year feast.

The dress has short sleeves and a Peter Pan styled collar.

The color is light pink and trimmed with a white ruffle.

A small pink bow is on the bottom sides of either leg.

At Elias & Co., we found Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. He is mostly platinum, but his shorts are blue.

He stands behind the Disney 100 Years of Wonder logo.

We’re just “un poco loco” over this Miguel platinum statue.

We also found Miguel in Elias & Co.

Minnie is on a pedestal above the Disney 100 Years of Wonder logo.

She is all platinum, except for her red bow.

Mickey Mouse can be seen in World of Disney in Downtown Disney District. He stands next to the Disney 100 logo. At least this Mickey Mouse statue doesn’t have an incorrect quote on it.

Another Minnie Mouse platinum statue is at World Of Disney.

This Mickey Mouse Disney 100 character statue can be found outside of the building where the ESPN Zone once operated. Could this statue have a MagicBand+ interaction?

Mickey has three pins on his lapel featuring Eve, Black Panther, and the “Star Wars” Rebel Starbird ensignia.

We’re one of the first on the bridge, and it soon filled up quickly with eager guests. Everyone was ready to bid farewell to Splash Mountain, and give a warm welcome to Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, coming 2024.

It was a mad dash over to Chick-A-Pin Hill.

The wait time quickly grew to over 100 minutes, and later in the day it reached 220 minutes. The Lighting Lane selection times for Splash Mountain were sold out before 8:00am.

As we were walking in and out of the park, we realized that “Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah” had been removed from the entrance loop music.

Ariel’s Grotto meet and greet returned after being closed for 3 years. Princess Ariel was eager to greet guests and talk about her favorite treasures.

An automated PhotoPass machine was in place but not operational, at this time.

Princess Ariel showed us that some of her treasures are hidden in the automated PhotoPass machine case.

We spotted a new adaptable Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway ear headband at Big Top Souvenirs. Chuuby is featured in the middle.

The attraction logo is printed along one side of the headband.

Back over at Splash Mountain, we noticed extremely long lines for the pressed penny machines. This one was having to be restocked.

We were able to ride the attraction a few times today. On our last ride of the day, we were able to catch the fireworks of Enchantment as we splashed our way through the attraction.

On our way out, we noticed that a PhotoPass photographer was set up in front of Splash Mountain.

Before “it was all started by a mouse,” Walt Disney created the Alice Comedies. The Alice Comedies were a series of animated/live-action silent short films. Alice, a live actress, would go on adventures with her animated cat, Julius.

Alice was originally played by Virginia Davis and the first film, “Alice’s Wonderland,” was originally filmed at Laugh-O-Gram Studios in 1923. The Alice Comedies were all about a “real girl living in a cartoon world.”

Alice is pictured in the corner of the display. The Disney 100 Years of Wonder medallion is on the display as well.

A speech bubble reads:

While other moviemakers were animating characters to interact with live-action, Walt had a uniquely different idea. “So I reversed it…I said, ‘That’s a new twist.’ And it sold.” It was the beginning of the Alice Comedies, an ongoing series about a real girl living in a cartoon world.

On the other side of the display, we can see Julius, Walt Disney, and a bottle of ink reading Winkler Pictures. Margaret J. Winkler founded M.J. Winkler Pictures (now Screen Gems). She viewed a pilot of “Alice’s Wonderland” and was intrigued by Disney’s idea of a real girl in a cartoon world. She signed Disney to a year-long contract, and Winkler Pictures then owned the rights to the Alice Comedies. Winkler herself came up with the idea of Julius and edited all the Alice Comedies.

The backdrop of the display is an image of Hyperion Studio, the 1926 Walt Disney Studio building, with a billboard for Mickey Mouse and the Silly Symphony cartoons.

Some of the Mickey-like mice from the Alice Comedies are floating around the billboard.

In addition to the Alice Comedies display, a Disney 100 Years of Wonder medallion has been installed next to the Mickey and Minnie topiaries by the pool.

Similar medallions have been installed throughout Disneyland Resort.
