Little Mermaid Soundstage Being Repainted for Animation Courtyard Reimagining

Crews have started to repaint the soundstage that houses The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The repaint is part of the reimagining of Animation Courtyard into the Walt Disney Studios lot.

The wall facing the front of the park is now a splotchy beige color. It will presumably get a few more coats of paint to give it a polished look. This color matches the side wall and Disney Jr. soundstage, which were repainted a few months ago.

The wall was previously solid gray, like the two corner columns. The columns will be painted a darker shade of beige, as seen in the concept art below.

Though most of Animation Courtyard is closed, The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure remains open during the reimagining. The rest of the courtyard will reopen this summer with The Magic of Disney Animation replacing Star Wars: Launch Bay and the new Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live! in the Disney Jr. theater.
