Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon will close for three days this week due to cold weather.
Typhoon Lagoon Closing
The water park is open today, January 26, but will be closed for the next three days: January 27, 28, and 29. At this time, it is expected to reopen on January 30 as operating hours are listed.
Typhoon Lagoon Scheduled Refurbishment
Typhoon Lagoon will close for refurbishment on February 14 and Blizzard Beach will reopen on February 15. Both parks will then be open at the same time from May 26 through September 8, 2026. This coincides with Cool Kids’ Summer offerings throughout Walt Disney World Resort, including a new Diamond Horseshoe show for the first time in 20 years.
