Disney and Lucasfilm have announced a new partnership with GoNoodle that features Star Wars characters in new videos aimed at teaching kids “mindfulness and movement.”
GoNoodle Debuts New ‘Star Wars’ Mindfulness Series for Kids

GoNoodle is a platform that provides engaging developmental programming for kids and is utilized by both parents and teachers. Disney and Lucasfilm announced a partnership with the platform to provide “short, engaging content that blends movement and mindfulness,” featuring favorite Star Wars characters teaching social-emotional skills.

The first video in the collaboration is “Balanced Breathing with Grogu,” in which an animated Grogu leads kids through regulatory breathing exercises with a Jedi training angle:
“Grogu embodies the qualities we want every child to build: curiosity, balance, and kindness, making him a natural fit for GoNoodle’s mission to transform how mindfulness shows up in classrooms and school communities,” KC Estenson, CEO of GoNoodle, said.
“This video helps kids practice important developmental skills like self-regulation, focus, and healthy daily habits. This program was developed with an understanding of the roles that movement and mindfulness play in helping kids to regulate and optimize student learning — two of the core principles that GoNoodle was founded on.”

It is the hope of Disney and GoNoodle that incorporating these beloved characters into new mindfulness content will inspire kids with “movement, joy, and developmental support” as they play and pretend.
This video, along with upcoming Star Wars content, is available on a dedicated Star Wars channel on the GoNoodle app as well as on GoNoodle’s YouTube channel:
