Zootopia 2 Hops and Slithers Past $600M Box Office Globally

After the record-breaking opening weekend, Zootopia 2 is now the sixth-highest-grossing movie of the year worldwide.

The international box office reached $446.9 million through Tuesday, bringing the worldwide total to $616.7 million. This puts the movie ahead of Superman and Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning globally. Not counting domestic take, the film holds the number 4 spot of 2025 in international markets, ahead of F1. Domestically, the film is currently number 13 for the year 2025.

It achieved this number over the course of just seven days. It still has to open in Japan on December 6, while China is responsible for $297.2 million of the total.

The CCO of Walt Disney Animation talked about the success of the film recently.

Meanwhile, the parks have a load of offerings available for the new movie, like a limited-time macaron, a limited-time sipper, a ride overlay, and a new puppet show at Shanghai Disneyland, limited-time meet and greets, and last but not least, the new show at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Zootopia: Better Zoogether.
