Universal Orlando Resort announced a new Annual Passholder lanyard is coming soon, likely inspired by the Grinch.
Grinch UOAP Lanyard Coming Soon
“Someone’s turning 25,” states the Universal Orlando Annual Passholders Instagram page. “And to celebrate, there’s a free lanyard coming your way.” The included image was of a green birthday cake slice.
Universal’s How the Grinch Stole Christmas was released 25 years ago and provides the inspiration for most Grinch offerings at Universal Orlando.
Universal did not state when or where Passholders will be able to get the lanyard. It will most likely be available at The Tonight Shop in Universal Studios Florida and the UOAP Lounge in Universal Islands of Adventure.
Passholders can also get a free lanyard during Passholder Bonus Benefits in January.
Guests can meet the Grinch at Seuss Landing in Universal Islands of Adventure. Guests can find the Grinch at the former Honk Honkers, across from Moose Juice, Goose Juice. Stanchions are set up outside for a queue. A digital sign displays the approximate wait time for the Grinch. He’s a popular character so be prepared to wait for a while.
There is also a show, called Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular, in the park. Watch our full video of the show from 2023 below:
