During construction of the new roadway entrance to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, crew members have paved a new sidewalk.

Concrete has been poured, creating a curving sidewalk to the side of the new roadway. At one end, it connects to a pre-existing sidewalk. The other end meets a crosswalk.

There is framework in the ground for the sidewalk to continue towards the Great Ceremonial House. It’s possible a curb cut will be added where the sidewalk ends.

There is light-colored dirt around the sidewalk and in the center of the new roads. These areas will be filled with plants. There are markers throughout the dirt, maybe outlining future flowerbeds.

On the other side of the new roadway is a patch of dirt. Another sidewalk could be constructed here. Recently, new pavement was also laid near the entrance.

A new guard house is also under construction just off Floridian Way. This new entrance will be more directly in front of the Great Ceremonial House. The current Seven Seas Drive entrance to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort will become a bus-only entrance.
