Crews have added roofing to the entrance of Disney Lakeshore Lodge, as well as other areas of the new resort, as seen in new aerial photos by @bioreconstruct on X.
Disney Lakeshore Lodge Construction

The resort’s lobby is now almost completely covered by roof paneling. Over the past several weeks, we’ve watched crews create a geometric framework for the entrance. The red beams are now covered by black paneling.

The lobby is shorter than the wings of the resort, which have flat rooftops. However, steel frames on the edges will also be covered in paneling, creating decorative overhangs.

On the other side of the lobby is the main pool and lazy river, which bio’s October aerial photos confirmed. The concrete flooring of the lazy river is not yet complete, with a gap at one curve and unfinished ends. The nearby pool has steps and ramps leading to its floor.

A building near the water also has more roofing. The resort consists of two half-circles curving along the shore of Bay Lake. There are supports for a future dock in the water.

Another pool appears to be under construction in the second half-circle. It’s outlined with wood, and a possible hot tub is nearby. Concrete has yet to be poured.

There’s a row of A-frame cabins on each side of the resort. One cabin — at the bottom left of the above image — now has roofing. Wood details were added to some cabins earlier this month.
Disney Lakeshore Lodge is a Disney Vacation Club resort. It replaces the unfinished Reflections – A Disney Lakeside Lodge, although takes some design notes from the previous concept. It’s scheduled to open in 2027.
