UPDATE: The “person down” alert was later updated to “rescue/medical.”
According to active police call records, there was a “person down” at EPCOT at 12:15 p.m. on Tuesday, December 2, 2025.
Police Alert

The alert was shared by Walt Disney World: Active Calls (@WDWActiveCrime) on X, an account not affiliated with Disney.
“Person Down” usually refers to someone who is incapacitated. It may refer to a death, but this has not been confirmed. It has been over an hour since the call with no updates. WDW Active Calls did post a seemingly unrelated 1:08 p.m. alert for battery also at EPCOT.
There was a similar alert for an incident at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort last month.
Disney and the Orange County Sheriff’s Department have not confirmed any details of today’s incident.
