Construction on the new Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort entrance began in May 2025 and will continue into 2026. The main update since we last reported on the construction is the new pavement being laid near the entrance. We can see this new pavement between the entrance overhang and the upturned dirt, as well as surrounding the new resort guard house.

On the right side of the photo is the new Polynesian Resort guard house, which we reported on previously. The guard house is located along Floridian Way, which is the new roadway entrance to the resort. The current Seven Seas Drive entrance to the resort will become a bus-only entrance.

What do you think of the new entrance for the Polynesian? Let us know in the comments and on social media.
