Norway Pavilion Construction Walls Block EPCOT Walkway

Construction walls take up a large swath of walkway at the Norway pavilion of EPCOT, surrounding the site of a beverage kiosk. The walls have been further expanded, now blocking the main path to the pavilion’s restrooms.

The walls are outside Anna and Elsa’s Royal Sommerhus, around a courtyard (the meet and greet is still open). They went up in September but were expanded this week. Due to this construction, the Norway Holiday Storyteller is performing in a spot nearby rather than on a stage outside the Royal Sommerhus.

The walls are now connected to green scrim and fencing that runs right behind the Stave Church. This blocks easy access to the restrooms at the back of the pavilion. Guests have to walk all the way around the walls, past the Sommerhus, to reach the restrooms.

Disney has not made any announcements about the construction, but it’s likely for pavement replacement or work on the beverage kiosk. We don’t expect any major changes to the area.
