Digital signs instructing guests how to scan their tickets and use photo validation have appeared at the entrance gates to Disneyland Park.

Disneyland Park Digital Entrance Signs

Two digital signs place in front of tree planters are now flanking the entrance to Disneyland Park. They instruct guests on how to be ready to scan in at the gate.

The first screen says “Welcome. Please have your ticket, device, or MagicBand+ ready to scan.” with animated images of a phone and a hand wearing a MagicBand.

The second screen shows the text “Please tap camera button to take your photo” above an image of said button.

Presumably, the screens are to expedite guest check-ins by avoiding confusion regarding the process at the gate. No screens were seen at the entrance gates to Disney California Adventure across the esplanade.

Updated Disneyland Entrance Gates

The Disneyland entrance gates were updated in May 2025, making them all ADA-compliant and introducing photo validation cameras to the entry process. Disneyland Resort guests scan their tickets and take their photos to enter the park (as long as they have a theme park reservation and a valid ticket).
