Disneyland now has a Mickey & Friends Christmas Tree Adventure Story Advent Calendar by Lovepop. It features 50+ pop-up pals and props, including 12 Playpop Explorers.

This day-by-day advent calendar box contains 25 individual pouches. Each day, when opened in order, the story of Mickey and his friends on their adventure to find the perfect Christmas tree are revealed.
They overcome obstacles, make new friends, and celebrate the holiday with their tree. The following Disney Playpop Explorers include:
- Mickey
- Minnie
- Donald Duck
- Daisy Duck
- Goofy
- Pluto
- Chip
- Dale
The first three days of the storyline are as follows:
It’s Christmastime, Mickey’s favorite time of the year! He can’t wait to spend it with his pals.
Minnie loves Christmas too! She and Mickey enjoy decorating their home for the season, and it all starts with the tree.
“Looks like the snow is flying, Minnie! Perfect weather for us to find our Christmas tree,” announced Mickey. “Let’s head into the forest…grab the sled, Pluto!”
The map shows the Shivering Forest, Santa’s Outpost, Daisy’s home, Mickey and Minnie’s home, Goofy’s place, Chip ‘n Dale’s treehouse, and Donald’s home.
Lovepop’s founders merged the processes of kirigami (ancient art of paper cutting) with the sliceform structure used in ship design to create their own technique, called Slicegami.
