Restaurantosaurus is serving holiday treats this year, including frozen hot cocoa and cookies, but how do they compare to other new items in the park?
Frozen Hot Cocoa – $6.49
Frozen Hot Cocoa by Joffrey’s with toasted marshmallow, whipped cream, holiday sprinkles, chocolate dinosaur, and a chocolate rim (New)

The Frozen Hot Cocoa sure is festive looking, but that’s really the only positive about this drink. It wasn’t really frozen when we purchased it; it was the consistency of a shake instead of a slushy.
Taste wise, it is super sweet. In fact, it was so sweet it hurt our reporter’s teeth. Sound familiar? The decorated piece was made of milk chocolate, and the dinosaur and bone are white chocolate.

Are we going to get this again? No. We’d rather go somewhere else to get a real frozen hot chocolate.

Gingerbread Cookie – $4.99
New

This classic Gingerbread Cookie is not really a cookie, but more like a dry bread that leaves you thirsty for something to drink after eating it.

Taste wise, this cookie has a pumpkin flavor instead of a gingerbread one. It’s not the kind of gingerbread cookie you imagine receiving, but it is really soft and cute.

Sugar Cookie – $4.79
Sugar cookie dipped in green sugar with dinosaur-themed chocolate disc (New)

The sugar cookie is rolled in green sugar sprinkles, which will dye your fingers. The dinosaur-themed disc is white chocolate, and the print is really cute and gives this sugar cookie a distinct edge over basic ones.

Like the gingerbread cookie, we probably wouldn’t eat this one again. There are so many other tasty, more interesting treats this holiday season. Kids and more plain eaters would probably love this, though.

All of these items are available at a kiosk near Restaurantosaurus through January 1.
Out of the new treats we have tried at Animal Kingdom, it ranks about the same as the Peppermint Ganache Brownie, but we like the the Cranberry-Cherry Cheesecake Pop the best.
Do any of these treats look enticing to you? Let us know in the comments and on social media.
