Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter has newly remodeled rooms. Here is our full tour of a corner room.
Newly Remodeled Room at Disney’s Port Orleans – French Quarter
See our video tour below:
The room is heavily themed to Princess and the Frog, with New Orleans style details and portraits of characters on the walls.

The walls are painted a very light cream color, and the vinyl plank flooring is in a Herringbone pattern.

As soon as you enter the room, there are three hooks on the wall next to the door.

There are two queen beds with white linens, but there is an orange throw pillow on each bed.

The fabric headboards are a pale blue color, and the walls behind them have a repeating circular motif pattern in sketch-style. The classic ornamental design has a strong New Orleans influence. The wallpaper is outlined in a sage colored wooden frame.
A bronze-finished light fixture with round bulbs is installed in the center, right above the center of the headboards.

A nightstand stands in between the beds with charging outlets, in-room advertisements, the Hey, Disney! device and a telephone. A small floating shelf is mounted on the wall on each side of the bed for more storage.

We toured a corner room, so it was a bit larger than standard rooms and configured differently. The pale orange curtains have an allover damask pattern.
A small circular table is flanked with two chairs.

The chairs are wood with tan padded seats and green and red paisley floral pattern on the seat backs.

A letter that reads “Our hope is that your room feels welcoming and adds to the amazing memories you will create here. Thank you for choosing Disney’s Port Orleans French Quarter Resort. Sincerely, Your Housekeeping Team” is placed on the table.

The heating and cooling system is painted a pale blue to seamlessly blend in.

Two pieces of artwork next to the table and chairs feature various scenes from Princess and the Frog, including Tiana and Naveen dancing in the streets and Louis playing the saxophone.

Next to the table and chairs is the dresser, which has six drawers. They either have a knob or pull handle in a bronze metallic finish. A flat-screen television is mounted above the dresser.

This space is also where the beverage cooler is located, which has a decorative door covering it.

Pictured above are the charging outlets installed in the dresser, which include traditional outlets and ones that fit newer devices.

A small shelving unit attached to the wall offers more storage solutions. There is more French Quarter-inspired artwork here: fake bricks in a bold orange color with confetti, streamers, and beads.

Disney offers a small Cuisinart coffee maker with a variety of coffees, teas, and creamers. There are also disposable cups with lids, great for taking your beverage on the go.

Disney added some new touches during the refurbishment, including a floral design on the blue sliding door that leads to the bathroom. It has a goldtone pull handle.

Picture above is the wall art next to the sliding door. It’s another New Orleans scene.

The bathroom has a large wood vanity with two sinks and a bronze-finished framed mirror on the wall.

There are shelves above and below for extra storage, as well as a step stool. The floor in the bathroom is tiled with a geometric pattern in blue, yellow, and cream colors.

To the left of the vanity is the ironing board, open-faced shelves, and small appliances.

A long mirror is placed on the opposite wall, right next to an open cabinet area with hangers, the in-room safe, and a luggage rack. You’ll also find extra linens here.

A pocket door leads to the toilet and shower.

Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are mounted to the wall. There is a detachable shower head in addition to the main one.
