Walt Disney World Resort is a place for guests of all ages to enjoy the magic, but many attractions do have height requirements to ensure the safety of everyone visiting the parks. This comprehensive list will allow you to plan ahead of your vacation and hopefully avoid disappointed kids getting turned away when it’s time to ride.
Cast Members strictly enforce the posted height requirement(s) for each attraction, and guests may be asked to confirm their height multiple times while inside the queue. Guests are allowed to keep their shoes on but may be asked to take them off if they are wearing platforms or heels.
There is also information regarding Rider Switch, a service Disney World provides that allows adult Guests to take turns waiting with youngsters or Guests unable to ride due to height requirements.

Rider Switch
What can families with younger children who are too short (or too scared) to ride do? Disney offers Rider Switch, and families will take turns experiencing the attraction. One person waits outside the queue (with the child) while the remainder of their party waits in the queue. Once the group returns from riding, the waiting guest(s) may board the attraction without having to wait in the standard queue.
All attractions above that do have height requirements (plus Frozen Ever After and Na’vi River Journey) offer Rider Switch. We recommend finding a snack, meeting a character, or taking a small rest while each group is riding. You may not want to travel too far from the attraction.
