Disney has shared a behind the scenes video of Tropical Americas construction, including the new Encanto ride, now that the project has gone vertical.

Hard hats on! We’re taking you behind the construction wall of the Tropical Americas at Disney’s Animal Kingdom as we celebrate our project going vertical

Right now, the structure, installed earlier this week, is only a tower of steel framing. This is the beginnings of the Encanto ride that will be part of the new land. The steel is installed along the back of the show building, which is going to support the walls and roof.

People walk towards a vibrant, tropical house with colorful flowers and lush greenery in a picturesque setting, reminiscent of an enchanting attraction you might find at Disney's Animal Kingdom.

The ride revolves around the storyline of Antonio receiving his special gift — the ability to communicate with animals — and his room has transformed into a rainforest. “It’s time to go explore alongside him, and you never know what member of the family you might bump into…”
