Join us for a sailing on Disney Cruise Line’s Disney Fantasy. We recently stayed in a Deluxe Family Oceanview Staterooms with an Extended Verandah, classified as a 4E room.

Disney Fantasy – Deluxe Family Oceanview Stateroom

This particular placement is number 5660. The room was just above the rotational dining and the adults-only section. Remy and Palo were just above. The room was also close to the elevator and staircases.

Coming into the room, there is some closet space and shelf space with drawers for storage.

One side of the closest space includes life jackets, shelving, and a room safe. The second closest has no lighting, but it does provide lots of hanging and storage space.

The stateroom features as split bathroom with a toilet, small sink, and mirror in one room

The other side of the split bathroom includes a larger vanity and shower/tub combo. Included in the shower are formerly H2O shampoo, condition, and body wash bottles. There is a full-length mirror on the inside of the door to this room, as well.

Moving into the room proper, the typical Disney Cruise Line bedding and linens top the bed. Although this room has extended verandah, it is the same size of other Deluxe Family staterooms.

Each side of the bed has an end table with outlets and matching lampshades, featuring Mickeys, Disney Cruise Ships, and Disney Parks around the world.

A separation curtain is provided to divide the sleeping area from the living area, if needed.

The couch does convert into a single-sleeper bed. The bed is on the longer side, but it is very narrow.

Opposite the couch, a desk with a TV, additional shelving, drawers, and several different power outlets is provided. Just below the TV is a mini fridge.

Two USBs and some international converter outlets are provided.

Art in the room includes a Disney Cruise Line-inspired piece with the ship docked in the Caribbean. The other piece features various characters as stamps. For example, Ariel, Ursula, Hades, Hercules, Mickey, Duchess, and Edgar are all represented.

There is a sliding glass door leading to the verandah. Curtains can be drawn to block out the light during the day.

Outside is the extended verandah with two regular chairs and two lounge chairs. A small table is also provided. This is about double the side of a standard verandah.

With the extended veranda, the entire section is not covered, although there is a nice area just through the door that could provide shade and protection from light rain.
