Black curtains have been installed in the Universal Studios Store at Universal Studios Florida. The curtains indicate an upcoming store refurbishment.
Studios Store Refurbishment
We noticed the long, black curtain on the inside of the Studios Store, running through the Harry Potter merchandise area. It is obstructing the walls of a large portion of this section. It also appears to be covering a column, as seen to the right in the image above.
The curtain extends to an entrance door right by the Harry Potter souvenir coin machine.
Snack Kiosk Construction
Elsewhere at Universal Studios Florida, other areas are being refurbished. For example, a green framework is visible above construction walls at Universal Studios Florida for a new snack kiosk. It replaces Expo Eats, which was demolished, outside Animal Actors on Location.
There are also more concrete footers in place for the rumored roller coaster replacement of Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit at Universal Studios Florida. The first concrete footers were installed last month.
