Construction walls are gone from the Universal Orlando Resort parking garages. The walls were up for an assumed escalator refurbishment.
Universal Orlando Escalator Refurbishment
We first noticed the construction walls on November 6. They blocked a pair of escalators leading to and from the valet parking area. The stairs and another set of escalators were still available.
As of December 8, the walls are gone. We saw no significant changes in the area, so assume they were up for a refurbishment of the escalators.
The escalators were functioning normally and their sides did look especially clean.
