CONCEPT ART: First Look at the Reimagined Annette’s Diner, Coming 2026

Annette’s Diner, located at Disney Village in Disneyland Paris is set to close in January for a months long refurbishment. Disneyland Paris News has now shared more details and concept art for the refurbishment.

Annette’s Diner is a retro 1950s-themed all-American diner at Disneyland Paris, and it is the next Disney Village venue to close for an update. It will close on January 5, 2026, for a long-term refurbishment. Unlike other shops and restaurants, Annette’s Diner is to keep its retro American 1950s theming.

The renovation will focus on enlarging the kitchens and completely refurbishing the dining room, including floors and furniture, while preserving its charm and the retro atmosphere that has been so popular since 1992. Some iconic features will be completely reimagined, such as the bar, whose layout and aesthetic will be redesigned to pay tribute to the distinctive chrome look of classic diners.

The booths will also sport a new design inspired by 1950s car seats, in colours typical of the era such as pink, blue and vanilla yellow. When it reopens, Annette’s Diner — with a slightly increased seating capacity — will continue to bring the golden age of Rock ’n’ Roll and the 1950s back to life.

Disney Village has been going through a years-long reimagining, which was announced in 2018 but began in 2022. Disneyland Paris revealed phase two in January.

This year, new stores Disney Style and Disney Glamour, the Petite Rosalie terrace restaurant, Deco by Disney, and a new LEGO Store opened. Sports Bar & Lounge is going through a refurbishment. Next year, a new McDonald’s and an Italian restaurant Casa Giulia will both open.
