Tokyo Disney Resort released the 2026 events schedule, and Vanellope’s Sweet Pop World and Fun Time with Toy Story 5 events are the highlights. Both parks will host a variety of events and programs.
Tokyo DisneySea Food & Wine Festival
April 15 – June 30, 2026 at Tokyo DisneySea
For a limited period during the 25th anniversary year, the Tokyo DisneySea Food & Wine invites guests on a culinary journey. Themed to “traveling the world through cuisine,” guests can enjoy a variety of delicious offerings throughout various areas of the park while experiencing the unique atmosphere of Tokyo DisneySea. This event will feature not only a diverse selection of food and wine, but a variety of seasonal alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to enjoy.
Vanellope’s Sweet Pop World
April 9 – June 30, 2026 at Tokyo Disneyland
Tokyo Disneyland will present Vanellope’s Sweet Pop World, the sixth event in the Disney Pal-Palooza series. Following her star appearance in the third event, Vanellope from the Walt Disney Animation Studios film Wreck-It Ralph returns, transforming the park into a delightful world filled with tasty treats once again. Decorations, special menu items and a selection of special merchandise will be available, before the special event officially starts, from March 9.
The Wreck-It Ralph-themed attraction is scheduled to open next year, but an announcement has not been made regarding the opening date and whether or not it will coincide with this event.
Fun Time with Toy Story 5
July 2 – September 14, 2026 at Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea
To mark the premiere of the upcoming Pixar Animation Studios film, Toy Story 5 — scheduled for release in summer 2026 in Japan — both Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea will present the special event Fun Time with Toy Story 5. At Tokyo Disneyland, guests can enjoy special menu items and have fun searching for characters from the film with a themed stamp rally, while both parks will feature decorations and special merchandise inspired by the world of Toy Story.
Summer Cool Off
July 2 – September 14, 2026 at Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea
The special event Summer Cool-off at Tokyo Disney Resort will take place at both Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea. Guests can enjoy a special summer filled with exciting and happy moments through a variety of “Get Soaked” programs.
Disney Halloween
September 16 – October 31, 2026 at Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea
The special event, Disney Halloween, will take place at Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo, inviting guests to enjoy a unique Halloween experience at each of the Tokyo Disney Resort parks.
Lazos de la Familia
September 16 – November 2, 2026 at Tokyo DisneySea
The special event Lazos de la Familia will once again be presented at Lost River Delta in Tokyo. Guests will find colorful decorations and traditional Mexican elements, paying tribute to Día de los Muertos (Spanish for “Day of the Dead”), a central theme in Pixar Animation Studios film Coco.
Disney Christmas
November 11 – December 25, 2026 at Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea
Both Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea will celebrate the holidays with the special event Disney Christmas, offering guests a different festive experience at each park.
Special New Year’s Event
January 1–11, 2027 at Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea
Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea will hold a special event that can only be experienced during the New Year period. Disney friends will greet guests in vibrant New Year outfits, and special merchandise and menu items will be available to those visiting the parks during this festive time.
Tokyo Disney Resort previously announced the “Sparkling Jubilee” celebrating the 25th anniversary of Tokyo DisneySea. The anniversary event runs from April 15, 2026 – March 31, 2027.
