Universal Studios Hollywood is ready for the holiday season with decorations throughout the theme park and CityWalk.

Entrance

Guests who arrive at the park in the evening will see snowflakes projected on the iconic archway.

Upper Lot

The Universal Studio Store has garland around its doorways. Being the home of Super Nintendo World merchandise, the garland is adorned with brightly-colored red, blue, and yellow baubles.

A display window features the snowman versions of Mario and Luigi surrounded by gifts and a Christmas tree. The tree is topped with a Super Star and decorated with Super Mushrooms.

The colorful garland continues around the side of the store. There are matching wreaths above awnings.

“Gifting is Universal” is on this window with palm tree and string light decals. Christmas presents are inside the window, in front of a Universal Studios Hollywood background.

In another window are Minions having fun in the snow. A decal reads, “Holiday Happiness.”

The colorful garland is also across the stroller, wheelchair, and locker rental area.

Another Studio Store window features Harry Potter merchandise framed by Christmas trees and a wreath. Decals make the window look like the Great Hall.

Garland hangs above the other Studio Store door. Inside are more small trees and holiday signs alongside holiday Harry Potter merchandise.

These decorations include orange baubles, gold tinsel, and gold bows.

The Starbucks facade has garlands and wreaths with pink velour bows.

There is a trio of display windows dedicated to Grinchmas. Guests can meet the Grinch, his dog Max, and enjoy more Grinchmas offerings beginning on November 24.

Universal is preparing to transform the center of the park into Who-ville. The unique Christmas tree already towers over the space. But the area isn’t open yet.

At the Illumination store, holiday Minion decals are in the windows to either side of the entrance. They read, “Good? Never” and “Naughty? Maybe.” Christmas present displays are inside.

The Power-Up Cafe has colorful garland around its roof and wreaths on the windows.

More decorations are throughout the streets of New York. A pair of plastic snowmen are on a balcony. Garlands across this deli feature big white bells. The Manhatten Market facade has garland decorated with golden stars and hot dogs, plus a Christmas tree out front.

The Perkins Fine Arts facade on Baker Street has garland with red and silver adornments. Next door are plain green garlands attached with big red bows.

The Westminster School facade has garlands full of silver and gold ornaments. And the Baker Street Music Hall has wreaths on its barn doors. Each wreath features a different red musical instrument.

Red and silver tinsel is wrapped around the supports of the Coca-Cola Refreshments stand. Matching ornaments hang from the overhang.

There are snowflake medallions attached to lampposts. Garland trims fire escapes and windows.

Mullgan’s is decorated with garlands featuring red and white ornaments. Decorations by the door have silvery bows.

The facade of The Secret Life of Pets: Off the Leash has garlands across its fire escape. There are decorations on the lower windows. These all have big red bows.

Each nearby house has a different wreath on its door, as though decorated by residents.

Outside Despicable Me Minion Mayhem is a wreath featuring Minion ornaments.

Lampposts are wrapped in garland and topped with yellow bows. Miss Hattie’s Home for Girls has big wreaths adorned with candy.

A Christmas tree on the corner next to Minion Cafe is full of colorful ornaments. It’s topped with a Minion wearing a Christmas sweater.

There are simple vintage-style garlands on the facades of the French street. These feature minimal decorations — mostly red and and golden bows.

A grid of string lights hangs over the streets to illuminate it at night.

Cocina Mexicana has wreaths featuring white, orange, gold, and blue ornaments plus sparkling flowers.

The DreamWorks meet and greet space has garlands with colorful baubles. The nearby lampposts have matching decorations.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter

Witches and wizards celebrate Christmas, too. Though Hogsmeade is always decked out with snow, it gets holiday decorations this time of year.

Some of the wreaths and garlands feature berries and pinecones. There are red ribbons on the lamppost wreaths.

The doorways of Hogsmeade Station are lined in garlands.

The entrance of The Three Broomsticks has garland, as do all of its gable roofs. A wreath hangs behind the trio of broomsticks above the entryway.

Nearly every window is trimmed with garland. Wreaths hang on many of the facades.

The Owl Post shop has garland featuring white feathers.

Gladrags Wizardwear has decorated with garland featuring pink ribbons. A matching wreath is at the top of the facade.

Wiseacre’s Wizarding Equipment has silver stars in its decorations.

There are garland decorations on the columns of the Hogwarts entrance gate. These are topped with red flowers.

A bundle of mistletoe hangs in one archway. The lights to either side have garlands beneath them.

The Spintwitches sports shop features Golden Snitch decorations in its garlands and wreath. The neighboring Tomes and Scrolls bookshop has simpler decorations with no extra adornments.

Some decorations feature Hogwarts house ribbons. These are inspired by the ties students wear and represent Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw, and Hufflepuff.

Lower Lot

A big tree greets guests on the Lower Lot as they enter Jurassic World. Though the tree mostly features standard baubles, there are also tropical flowers and pteranodon decorations.

Garlands are wrapped around the lampposts. These feature silver and blue ornaments, and silvery lace ribbon.

Super Nintendo World has a Christmas tree out front with red, green, and blue baubles. One of the blocks behind the green warp pipe has been turned into a giant gift box with gold ribbon. A wreath and garland hang below the Super Nintendo World sign.

Princess Peach’s gazebo is decorated with big ornaments hanging from garland.

Another Christmas tree isn ear the center of the land, where guests can meet Mario and Luigi.

Studio Tour

The entrance archway to the World-Famous Studio Tour has garland behind its sign. It’s adorned with blue, silver, and gold ornaments.

Matching garland is wrapped around the filming schedule sign. It also features sparkly film reels.

CityWalk

We caught CityWalk all aglow in the evening. Garland is hung above the sidewalk, with wreaths in the center. The palm trees are wrapped with green and purple lights.

Universal Studio Store has Grinchmas decals around its columns and in the windows.

Garland lines the stairs and second-story near the center of CityWalk. The King Kong sign wears a Santa hat.

And of course, there’s a giant Christmas tree. It’s located outside the cinema and features a pink and green color scheme in honor of Wicked: For Good. The green “W” logo glows near the center of the tree. The star on top resembles Glinda’s bubble wand.
