The Green and Red Coconut Club has opened at Universal CityWalk Orlando for the 2025 holiday season. The annual Christmas overlay of the Red Coconut Club features themed decorations, cocktails, and this year, an Earl the Squirrel meet and greet.

Green and Red Coconut Club 2025

Exterior

The Green and Red Coconut Club is located on the second level of CityWalk. Green and red lights illuminate the club’s exterior.

It’s adorned with garland and Mistletoe Pines travel posters.

First Floor

The floor is illuminated with icy blue light and snowflakes. Green and blue spotlights circle the space. The Green and Red Coconut Club logo is projected on the ceiling.

The bar is decorated with faux snow and lighted figures.

Icicle lights hang from the second-floor railings.

Several flocked Christmas trees also decorate the area.

Tables are set up for card and board games available for guests to use. Decorated trees sit around and on top of certain tables.

The record-lined walls are covered with sparkly gold fabric.

Large lights and baubles decorate the entrance to this area.

Lighted garland lines the ceiling overhang with postcards tacked just below.

Fa La La lines the wall to the restrooms near another decorated seating area.

There’s a Super Chexx ice hockey machine available for guests to play alongside other holiday decor, including a sleigh pull of presents.

Signs above the dance floor entries read “Mistletoe Pines Ski Lodge.”

There are several photo-ops, including a snowman prop and a snow globe. The dance floor is illuminated with icy blue light. Green and blue spotlights circle the space.

One wall shelf features a Christmas village and a snow globe. Rows of nutcrackers are on other shelves. Paper snowflakes are stuck to the wall. An upside-down Christmas Pickle tree hangs in the seating area.

Stairwell

Heading upstairs, Earl the Squirrel’s presence begins to be known.

An Earl-style “12 Days of Christmas” list is projected onto the wall with items like “acorns tumbling” and “a blue light to a pine tree.”

Ugly Christmas sweaters and lights line the stairway around the list.

Lastly, a large red bag of nuts “from Earl” brings guests to the top of the stairs.

Second Floor

A Christmas tree dress and sparkly stocking hang from wooden panelling on the landing.

Near the second-floor railing, a winder wonderland complete with woodland creatures and a snow-covered bridge has been set up.

The upstairs bar is also decorated. Gift tags line the walls and hang from the ceiling.

Many other “Earl” tributes decorate the walls, including a large image of him chewing an electrical cable and an “in case of emergency” nut case.

The upstairs seating area is also decorated with snowflakes projected onto the floor, seating, and tables.

In front of the top seating area is an Earl the Squirrel meeting area. Iconically, Earl is the well-known legend of a real squirrel that pestered Universal years ago by stealing blue Christmas lights from the main tree to decorate its own nest.

Other nods to the now-iconic squirrel are scattered throughout the area, including gifts topped with pine cones.

Earl and other woodland creatures are the focus of this shelving unit.

Squirrels, bears, deer, and a holiday calendar all decorate the space.

Stockings are hung from the fireplace.

A wreath and acorn garlands are above. Along the wall are various portraits of the squirrel family and a calendar.

Earl’s 12 Days of Christmas Meet & Greet

We even caught the famous guy in action. Earl holds a blue lightbulb (that he likely stole) as he meets a guest visiting the upstairs lounge to celebrate his 12 days of Christmas.

Earl’s Truck

Before you head out, check out Earl’s truck by the Epic Preview Center. The red, vintage pick-up is parked amongst holiday foliage and trees right beside the wooden Mistletoe Pines Village sign.

If you’re lucky, you may even spot Earl himself hanging out by the truck for meet and greets.

In addition to the foliage around it, the bed of Earl’s truck is full of holiday decor. From oversized ornament baubles to gift bows and even a fully decorated Christmas tree.
