The new guard shack at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort has more paneling since our last update. Located off Floridian Way, the new building is part of a reconfiguring project of the resort’s roadway entrance.
New Polynesian Village Resort Guard Shack
The shack now has panels on the wall below its front gable roof. Rather than just simple brown and beige panels like those previously installed, these create a diamond pattern matching designs throughout the resort.
Drains have also been installed running down the corners of the building. They are dark brown but currently have some tape on them. Windows were previously installed but the window on the front door is still a piece of scrim.
The current Seven Seas Drive entrance to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort will become a bus-only entrance. Construction at the resort Resort is scheduled to continue through 2026.
