Disney Confirms Jack Skellington’s Updated Holiday Meet & Greet Look

From the Pumpkin King to Sandy Claws, Disney Parks has shared a first look at Jack Skellington’s updated look for the 2025 holiday season.

Jack Skellington’s Updated Look

Two guests dressed as Jack Skellington pose on a spiral hill with gifts in a Disney holiday meet and greet, no castle visible.

Above are Jack and Sally’s old looks. Disney Parks revealed a new Jack Skellington head and updated makeup for Sally in earlier this year  for meet and greets during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.Jack now has a full head rather than a half-mask. He also has fully white gloved hands, instead of them being black on the palms.

Disney has announced that the updated look will continue into the holiday season at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland.

The old look allowed the performer to speak easily, but his new head does have an articulated mouth. It looks like it can’t move as much as a human mouth, but it is significantly closer in appearance to Jack’s animation in Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas. The Christmas outfit remains relatively the same with a red body suit, black belt and boots, Santa hat, and a long white beard.

Check out the transition from the Pumpkin King to Sandy Claw below.

Jack Skellington will meet guests in Town Square Theater alongside Sally for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party 2025 which runs from November 7 to December 21.
