Animal Kingdom is getting several new menu items in honor of Zootopia 2 and the opening of Zootopia: Better Zoogether. During an event for media, we tried the new donut macaron and cold brew.

Clawhauser’s Big Donut Macaron and the Bunny Burrow Brew will both be at Isle of Java later this week.
Clawhauser’s Big Donut Macaron
This is a macaron filled with chocolate ganache, strawberry jelly, and covered in chocolate glaze with rainbow sprinkles. It’s perfectly crafted. The exterior is soft and delicate. The icing is actually fresh and was still gooey on the cookie.
The combination of rich chocolate with sweet and tart strawberry is exceptional. The mouth feel of the cookie and the crunch of the sprinkles make it a pleasant snack.

Bunny Burrow Brew
This drink is Joffrey’s French Roast Cold Brew with condensed milk and blueberry syrup garnished with whipped cream, a sugar carrot, and chocolate crisp “blueberries.”
Disney advised we stir the drink, which makes it look more like a regular coffee. The French roast and condensed milk aren’t bad after the stir, but the milk then settles and you occasionally get the straw stuck on it, leading to a sip of pure condensed milk. We barely got the blueberry syrup flavor. It seems to have a hard time coming through the milk. This felt like a decent idea but it just doesn’t work.

Eight Spoon Cafe at Animal Kingdom will also get the themed Cub Soda while the Zoogether popcorn bucket will be at Mahindi, Chakranadi, and Trek Snacks. All of the new menu items will be available on November 7, the opening date of Zootopia: Better Zoogether.
