Cruella has a flair for the dramatic, and it makes sense that the drink menu in her lounge also needs to bring the same stylish aesthetic. De Vil’s piano lounge on the Disney Destiny hits all the right notes with its trendy and high-end drink menu.

Welcome, darling, to De Vil’s, a stylish lounge that takes a cue from the over-the-top fashionista fiend from the Disney classic 101 Dalmatians. Nestled near the Grand Hall, this chic venue mirrors Cruella’s bold attitude and flair for the dramatic. Indulge in trendy martinis, old-fashioned cocktails or high-end bubblies while swaying to the sultry tunes of a black-and-white-spotted piano.

Love Bubbles – $18

Angels Envy Single Barrel “High Seas Edition”, Strawberry, Lemon, Pommery Brut Royal

Our tour of the De Vil’s drinks begins on a high note with this drink, which not over powering at all. It is very fruity smelling, but tastes like cold champagne with a slight strawberry lemon flavor. This is an excellent start, and we like the kmark on the side of the glass.

I Live for Furs: $14

Drumshanbo Gunpowder Gin, Lemon, Raspberry, Vanilla

REVIEW: De Vil's Piano Lounge on the Disney Destiny Hits All the Right Notes

This drink has a neat presentation of edible sugar wafer-type pieces that make it look like Dalmatian spots. Interestingly, despite the appearance, it has a lemon and raspberry flavor. It is very tart, but just when you think it’s going to get worse, it gets better. There is a strong gin and vanilla after taste. We also likened this to a tea cookie. Overall, it is a confusing drink but it is an elevated cocktail, compared to the Haunted Mansion drinks next door.

It comes in a matte black glass, which is a prominent theme here at De Vil’s.

Darling – $12

Grey Goose Le Citron, Cointreau, Rose Cherry, Lime, Cranberry

REVIEW: De Vil's Piano Lounge on the Disney Destiny Hits All the Right Notes

In contrast to a black matte glass, the Darling comes in a matte white glass. It tastes like a cosmopolitan, and we really like it. If you’re familiar with the alcoholic slush drinks from Les Vins des Chefs de France at EPCOT’s France Pavilion, it tastes like that.

Perfectly Wretched – $30

Belvedere 10, Elderflower, Lime, Agave, Cucumber, Strawberries. Served with a side of Lipstick, Face powder and Perfume, for a true fashion lover.

Very bright and smooth are good descriptors of Perfectly Wretched. The drink is very fruit-forward, but it is not overpowered by the elderflower.

Presentation is really beautiful and elaborate. The face powder is edible glitter, and the lipstick is Chambord (black raspberry liqueur) and gelatin. Cruella also left her perfume bottle, which has now been filled with champagne.

Fashionista – $25

Strawberry & Banana infused Patron Añejo Cristallino, Lime, Agave. Clarified using dairy products. Comes with popcorn.

You’ll need to be aware up front that the process for making the Fashionista is complicated and it takes a while, but this is worth the wait.

We love the creamy foam on top. The lime flavor is prominent, but the strawberry comes through as well. Ordering this drink is the only way to get the strawberry flavored popcorn we have seen in all the preview photos.

This is our favorite drink at De Vil’s.

Fearless Sir Galahad (Zero Proof) – $14

Free Spirits Bourbon, Bourbon Barrel Aged Maple, Bitters

We paid $4 to add Blue Rum Reflection, but if you wanted the Zero Proof option this is a great choice. We appreciate that Disney still does a neat presentation for the Zero Proof drink here. The glass is presented like it’s Roger’s pipe, and you can drink it that way or just in a regular cup, as pictured here.

The bourbon is very strong and smoky, and it is very smooth. We absolutely enjoyed this drink.

The Henchmen – $12

Camus VSOP, Bushmills, Orgeat Lime, Bitters

We really enjoyed the Henchmen because the blackberry flavor is unique. It’s a good drink to enjoy at the end of the De Vil’s experience because it wraps up the flavors of the entire line of beverages represented in the lounge beautifully. This has like a darker, deeper flavor that encapsulates everything Cruella stands for.

Final Thoughts

We want to make one final note about the 101 Brew, which appears to look like a specialty beer at De Vil’s. It is actually La Fin du Monde, which is a macro brew that Disney uses in various locations around its theme parks and cruise ships, including the Canada Pavilion at EPCOT.

Along with Cask & Cannon, this is another great venue aboard the Disney Destiny that had a fantastic beverage menu and excellent theming.

You can see more photos of the piano lounge in our full tour. Also be sure to check out our full guide to the Destiny, which has reviews and tours of the venues aboard.
