Restaurantosaurus Prepares for Santa Claus Meet and Greet in Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Santa Claus is comin’ to town one last time before DinoLand U.S.A. at Disney’s Animal Kingdom officially closes. Disney confirmed that Santa will be meeting guests at Restaurantosaurus again this year and preparation for the meet and greet is underway.

The meet and greet will be on the patio of Restaurantosaurus, one of the last remaining vestiges of DinoLand. Above the patio entrance, a trio of light-up tinsel dinosaurs appear to sing Christmas carols.

It looks like some chairs and tables have been cleared from the patio. There were a few potted plants, either for decoration or to eventually block work in the area from guest view.

Santa visits for the annual Dino Institute Holiday Party and the patio will be decked out with props. Check out our full tour of the detailed dino decor from last year and watch our video of the meet and greet below.

The Santa meet and greet will be from November 14 through December 24, 2025.
