Resort Monorail Reopened After Fire

As of 4:25pm ET, our reporter let us know from the Transportation and Ticket Center that the resort monorail was running again. However, Cast Members were still advising guests to take boat transportation over the monorail.

Additionally, the Express Line was testing by running Monorail Red very slowly.

The boat service has been overwhelmed by guest demand all day due to the resort monorail closure, as our reporter documented this afternoon.

Electrical Fire on Monorail Silver
Guests spotted the electrical fire on Monorail Silver near the Grand Floridian Resort on the morning of November 23. The Walt Disney World resort monorail system was shut down shortly afterward as firefighters and maintenance workers were seen near the stopped train.

At around 12:40pm ET, our reporter caught video of Monorail Silver being pushed back on the track.
