Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure Closed for 2D Conversion at Walt Disney World

Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is temporarily closed to undergo a short refurbishment and 2D conversion at EPCOT.

Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure Closed

Last month Disney announced that Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure would be getting a brief refurbishment that included a conversion to 2D. That refurbishment started today, November 10, and will continue through this week, and is reflected on the Walt Disney World website:

The text reads:

Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure will experience a short downtime Nov. 10-13, 2025 and will return with enhanced digital visuals and clearer imagery projected in 2D. Remy’s fans will spot new props and lighting enhancements when they are added to the queue and attraction over the next few months.

The website shows that Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure will reopen on Friday, November 14.

The Disneyland Paris version of the ride is also receiving similar upgrades, including an enhanced queue with a new scene, as well as new props and enhanced projections on the ride itself.

Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure opened in the France Pavilion in EPCOT in 2021. The trackless ride transforms guests into a rat helping Chef Remy on a culinary adventure.
