Nets cover the entire Tree of Life Theater queue at Disney’s Animal Kingdom for the new Zootopia: Better Zoogether show.
Zootopia: Better Zoogether Queue Nets

There was no such cover when the Tree of Life Theater hosted It’s Tough To Be A Bug, which closed earlier this year. The nets are supported by a structure of criss-crossing wooden beams. We saw construction on this structure just a few days before Zootopia: Better Zoogether previews began.
The nets seem to be in place to protect waiting guests from falling debris. There have been scarce reports over the years of branches and leaves from the Tree of Life itself falling near guests.
Because these are thin nets and not full shades, there is still sunlight coming into the queue and guests can still look up at the Tree of Life, albeit slightly obscured by the safety netting.
Disney likely anticipates Zootopia: Better Zoogether will be more popular than It’s Tough To Be A Bug, at least for its first few years. Guests will be waiting outside more than they did for the previous show, perhaps promoting the need for more legal & safety protection for guests.
Closer to the theater entrance are posters relating the backstory of Zootopia: Better Zoogether, re-writing the history of the Tree of Life.

The nets also cover the exit queue.
