Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade Continues Daytime Performances for ABC Holiday Special Filming at Walt Disney World

Today, Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade will be performed at the Magic Kingdom again instead of the Festival of Fantasy Parade.

Daytime Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade

The second special run of the Christmas parade is due to the filming of ABC’s 40th Anniversary Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade. The parade kicked off yesterday around 2pm ET, so it will likely do the same today. The banner for this performance reads, “Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade,” the name of the special being filmed.

We posted a full breakdown of all the parade floats yesterday, alongside a look at a small Disney Villains pre-parade, complete with its own float and a rare character. Watch our video of the full daytime parade:

The Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade will return tomorrow for its normal 2pm run time. Both Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade and Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks will be presented for all Magic Kingdom guests after the final Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.
