California Adventure gets its own cute little Christmas cavalcade as part of the Disneyland holiday festivities.
Mickey’s Happy Holidays
This cavalcade doesn’t have any floats, just walking (and dancing) characters accompanied by dancers and the Holiday Toy Drummers, who also perform separately in Paradise Gardens Park throughout the day.
Mickey and Minnie lead the troupe, followed by Clarabelle, Goofy, and Pluto, all dressed in casual holiday outfits. Last year Chip and Dale were also part of the cavalcade, but they are absent this year.
Pixar characters bring up the rear, wearing festive accessories like scarves and Santa hats. They include Joy, Mr. and Mrs. Incredible, Frozone, Woody, Jessie, and Bo Peep.
The cavalcade travels from Paradise Gardens Park to Hollywood Land with stops for 3-minute performances. They dance to an original “Mickey’s Happy Holidays” theme song. Check the Disneyland app for performance times.
