Starting November 15 through January 3, Universal Horror Unleashed is home to Krampus & Kin for the holidays. The festivities promise to bring even more sinister fun.

Krampus & Kin, which will runs on select dates from November 15, 2025 to January 3, 2026, promises even more sinister fun this holiday season. The website states:
Face four relentless haunted houses and nightmarish winter legends. Capture photo ops with the Germanic punisher Krampus, Icelandic troll Grýla and more. Indulge in fiendishly festive food and drink. And witness a processional of horrific beings throughout the night.
Guests will experience the four haunted houses, and will also be able to take photos with Krampus and other characters and indulge in food and beverages. Best of all, the experiences below are included with regular admission:
- Photos with Wicked Winter Legends
- Capture icy terrors during this close-up experience. Pose next to Germanic punisher Krampus’s skull-encrusted throne and Icelandic troll Grýla’s cauldron as you hide under a rotting tree from fiendish Kallikantzaroi Greek goblins.
- Hunger for Myths
- Devour the stories with seasonal food and drinks available for purchase including a Krampus-themed dessert “Krampus” Snow Globe, Grýla’s Char, Chicken Souvlakichos, and more.
- A Procession of Winter Nightmares
- Krampus, Grýla and Kallikantzaroi descend in a haunting, lantern-lit procession happening throughout the night.
The Krampus legend involves him punishing the poorly behaved children when St. Nick rewards the well-behaved children. History.com details the story of Krumpus below:
He is he half-man, half-goat who comes around every year to chase naughty children and maybe even drag them to hell. European versions of St. Nicholas have long had scary counterparts like Belsnickle and Knecht Ruprecht who dole out punishment. Krampus is one such character who comes from folklore in Austria’s Alpine region, where he’s been frightening children and amusing adults for hundreds of years.
