Kia announced that it will offer dozens of new digital display themes for its compatible vehicles, featuring Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and National Geographic.
New Display Themes
By 2026, 30 new digital display themes will be launched for Kia’s compatible vehicles. These vehicles are equipped with the Connected Car Navigation Cockpit (ccNC). The themes change the primary colors and characters displayed on the screen. All five franchises will have at least one theme available in 2025 across the U.S., Europe, and Korea, according to a press release from Kia.
Some of the upcoming themes include The Avengers, The Lion King, The Mandalorian, and Toy Story. The themes and other features can be seen in the Kia Connect store.
Of this new endeavor, senior vice president and head of Kia’s global brand and CX division, Charles Ryu, said:
This collaboration with Disney represents a ground-breaking use of our digital and over-the-air systems to allow owners to customize not just the appearance, but the personality of their vehicles with the art of characters from some of the most beloved cinematic worlds ever created. Kia aims to establish itself as the industry’s most approachable mobility brand both through its innovative product design and the advanced use of smart technology.
