Disney Experiences Chairman Josh D’Amaro has shared the first photos of the Disney Destiny’s Wakanda-inspired Grand Hall.

First Photos of Disney Destiny Grand Hall
Josh D’Amaro boarded the ship and addressed the Disney Destiny crew on Monday from the stage in the Grand Hall. In the photos he shared, we get our first look at the finished space, which is inspired by Wakanda from Black Panther.

In this photo with the ship’s captain and officers, we also get our first look at the installed T’Challa atrium statue, after getting a glimpse of it being unwrapped courtesy of the Imagineers working during the Destiny’s two-week crossing.

We also get this perspective of the Grand Hall showing the uniquely-patterned balconies on the higher decks looking down onto the space.

Finally, he also shared this photo of Cast Members of the new Lion King dinner show in their costumes and standing by a painted wooden column in the dining room.
The Disney Destiny arrived in Port Canaveral on Sunday night. Disney Cruise Line will be livestreaming her christening ceremony on Monday, November 10.
