Holiday Confectionary Treats Are Sweetening Up Magic Kingdom

Just as Main Street U.S.A. is all dolled up for the holiday season, Walt Disney World Resort is doing the same with its treats.

These sweet holiday snacks were found at the Main Street Confectionery in The Magic Kingdom.

Holiday Peppermint Popcorn – $16.99

It’s always exciting to see what new popcorn specialties the Kernel Kitchen (in the back of The Confectionery) will cook up. This season, it is Holiday Peppermint Popcorn. In this mix, you’ll find limited-time peppermint-flavored candy popcorn, M&M’s, crushed peppermint, mini marshmallows, and a drizzle of both white and dark chocolate. Although these specials have a set list of inclusions, they can be modified to your preference.

Minnie Holiday Cereal Treat – $7.99

This holiday, Minnie cereal treat comes on a popsicle stick. The bottom of the treat is coated in white icing and features clear sprinkles on top. There are several red M&M candies as well as a red candy bow on the treat.

Mickey Holiday Cereal Treat – $7.99

A Mickey Mouse-shaped treat from Magic Kingdom, topped with festive icing and sprinkles.

Another cereal treat, but with a lot more decoration than the Minnie variation. The Mickey cereal treat also comes on a popsicle stick, but is coated in red icing, accompanied by green and red M&Ms, white traditional sprinkles, tree and holly-shaped sprinkles, and drizzled in white icing.

Minnie Holiday Marshmallow Pop – $7.49

Covered in white icing and what appear to be clear sprinkles, this candy-coated marshmallow treat comes on a stick. Over the front are five red M&Ms, and at the top is a red candy bow.

Minnie Holiday Caramel Apple – $14.49

Three festive treats, including a Minnie Mouse caramel apple, tempt visitors at Magic Kingdom.

Following a similar aesthetic as the cereal treat and marshmallow, the Minnie Holiday Caramel Apple is also coated in white icing and clear sprinkles. The sprinkles cover the bottom half of the apple with a few red M&Ms placed in a zig-zag pattern. There is a marshmallow mouse ear on either side of the top of the apple, and a red candy bow between them with a wooden dowel rod behind it.

Mickey Holiday Caramel Apple – $14.49

The Mickey Mouse Caramel Apple is loaded with candy toppings. Coated in red icing with a marshmallow ear on either side, the apple is also topped with a generous amount of green and red M&M’s, white sprinkles, tree- and holly-shaped sprinkles, and drizzled with white icing.

Mickey Christmas Tree Caramel Apple – $14.49

Also coated in red icing, the Mickey Christmas Tree Caramel Apple is adorned with the shape of a Christmas tree on its front in green icing. Different-colored M&Ms decorate the tree like ornaments, and a yellow star is at the top.

Minnie Holiday Red Velvet Cupcake – $5.99

Mickey Holiday Vanilla Cupcake – $5.99

In a similar style to the red velvet Minnie cupcake, this vanilla Mickey cupcake features white frosting with a mouse head shape on top, but this one is blue. Around the mouse’s head is a smattering of gold circular sprinkles, and further down is a ring of different kinds of blue and white sprinkles.

Holiday Brownie – $7.79

Aside from the popcorn, this is the only non-mouse-shaped holiday treat offered at The Confectionery. This circular brownie is topped with red and green M&M’s and drizzled with chocolate.

A gingerbread cookie in the shape of Mickey’s head, the top half of which is coated in red-colored glaze. Six white icing dots are separating the bare cookie from the coated side. Above that line is a holly berry and leaf shape.

This Mickey head-shaped sugar cookie is sure to light up the season. Coated in a green-colored glaze, the cookie is decorated with two black strands of holiday lights. In place of a light shape, a different colored M&M is placed along the string.
