Santa Gertie is now decorated for the 2025 Christmas season at Hollywood Studios, including the Santa hat and ornament.

Gertie wears a classic red velvet Santa hat with white fur trim and a puff ball. A yellow-gold ornament hangs from her mouth.
The snow caps on Gertie’s head and back are year-round decorations. The life-size dinosaur building is based on the first-ever animated dinosaur, which was created by Winsor McCay in 1914.
A Christmas Gertie cookie will be available during Disney Jollywood Nights.

Echo Lake
Echo Lake is also decorated with oversized ornaments spilled into the water. Blue, green, red, and yellow ornaments float along the lake’s surface, but they are actually secured under water. The water level is currently lower than it typically is due to installing the ornaments.
The park’s giant Christmas tree will eventually be installed on the peninsula jutting into the lake behind Gertie. Other areas of the park are also decorated for the season.
