A brand new collection inspired by Germany’s Black Forest is now available at EPCOT.
Black Forest Collection
The collection is described as follows:
Inspired by the folk costumes of Germany’s Black Forest (Schwarzwald) region, this merchandise collection showcases the shapes, colors, florals, and patterns of southwestern Baden’s rich history. One of the most iconic fashion accessories is the bollenhut, a wide-brimmed hat adorned with red pom-poms.
We found the merchandise for sale at Das Kaufhaus.
Kitchen Mitten – $14.99
Minnie is featured wearing a traditional bollenhut in the midst of a floral pattern on the blue oven mitt. On the opposite side, Mickey joins her alongside a repeating pattern with “Germany Pavilion | EPCOT World Showcase” logo and flowers.
Kitchen Tea Towel – $19.99
The tea towel has a floral Minnie Mouse icon on one side and the “Germany Pavilion | EPCOT World Showcase” print on the other. A blue stripe lines either side and is covered in a matching floral pattern.
Throw Blanket – $44.99
The 50 x 60 inch throw blanket features Mickey and Minnie standing in front of the Schwarzwald, or Black Forest, region. Both are wearing traditional German clothing to match the scene.
Apron – $39.99
The floral Minnie icon covers the top section of the apron while the Mickey and Minnie floral pattern makes up the bottom. A white stripe separates the two sections.
Mug – $24.99
Mickey and Minnie standing in front of the Schwarzwald is also the focus of the coffee mug. The “Germany Pavilion | EPCOT World Showcase” wordmark and floral Minnie icon are featured on the opposite side.
The handle is also covered in a floral pattern. The interior of the mug is green and has a Mickey icon in the bottom.
Adult T-Shirt -$36.99
Next up is a feminine cut T-shirt. Minnie is wearing her bollenhut surrounded by flowers and “Germany Pavilion | EPCOT World Showcase” is screen printed below.
Adult T-Shirt – $46.99
“Germany Pavilion | EPCOT World Showcase” is screen printed below the puffy ink of a pastel-colored and floral Minnie Mouse icon. The sleeves have lace detailing around the cuffs.
Sweatshirt – $49.99
The yellow “Deutschland| EPCOT World Showcase” sweatshirt also features Minnie wearing her bollenhut.
Backpack – $69.99
A similar Minnie design and floral pattern make up this quilted backpack. It is roughly the size of a Loungefly mini backpack.
The straps are solid blue and the interior is red.
Wristlet – $34.99
A matching wristlet features the same design.
A sewn on tag on the back of the clutch reads “Deutschland| EPCOT World Showcase.” The interior is solid red.
Ear Headband – $36.99
Colorful Cuckoo Clocks are the star of this ear headband. Both are likely inspired by the traditional Cuckoo Clocks from the Black Forest region. Each is surrounded by a U-shaped floral pattern. The interior of the headband is made from yellow velour.
“Deutschland Pavilion” and “EPCOT World Showcase” are printed on either side of the headband in yellow text.
Even more Germany pavilion merchandise was released earlier this year followed by another taking inspiration from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
