Festival of The Lion King Celebrates 80 Million Guests at Animal Kingdom

According to a Facebook post, Cast Members celebrated the 80 millionth guest at Festival of the Lion King.

80 Millionth Guest

The daughter of Facebook user Jessi Sallenbach was recently celebrated as the 80 millionth guest of the Festival of the Lion King show at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The young guest was given a large ticket with “80 Millionth Theatergoer” written around the show’s logo. A nod to Camp Minnie-Mickey is also referenced on the ticket. She was also given a Celebration Button with the milestone.

The young guest and her family were joined by the cast after the show for a group shot.

Festival of the Lion King is a Broadway-style show located in the Harambe Theatre in Africa at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Disney describes it as a “larger-than-life show filled with songs, pageantry and puppetry celebrating the classic movie, The Lion King.”
