Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift Construction
The entrance archway has been completed. The support columns are now covered in concrete-style paneling. When we first reported on the entrance sign, weather-proof sheathing was still visible.
More white framing has gone up around the track over this walkway. The framing may ultimately be covered by a net or other canopy to catch falling items, keeping guests below protected.
The canopy framework doesn’t yet span the walkway, which connects two of the elevators between the park’s upper and lower lots. The coaster track spans the mountainside, but the ride’s entrance and exit are on the Upper Lot.

Crews continue to work in this area next to the elevators. There’s a concrete platform, currently surrounded by temporary fencing.
This elevated structure amid the track now has partitions around its sides.
We could see through a gap in the partitions. That zebra pattern is a temporary wrap on the coaster cars. We know Dom’s Dodge Charger will lead each train and the other cars were , teased in concept footage but they will be officially revealed later. The trains have been testing for the past few weeks, including with dummies.
Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift will open in 2026 The coaster has 4,100 feet of track, sound reduction technology, and 360-degree rotation to create the sensation of drifting. Watch the teaser video below.
