2026 is quickly approaching and that means Universal has shared the special events taking place next year at Universal Studios Hollywood.
Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift
Fast & Furious Hollywood Drift is coming sometime in 2026. No specific date was announced yet, but we will report on it as soon as it is.
Above is the concept art for the ride. According to Universal, “[This ride] is the first high-speed, outdoor roller coaster at the LA theme park…”. Let us know if you are excited for Hollywood Drift to open!
Pass Member Bonus Benefits
Between the months of February and March of 2026 Pass Members will have access to limited-time discounts, members’ exclusive food and beverage offerings, and even collectible giveaways. These benefits will be for anyone with an annual or season pass to enjoy.
Butterbeer Season
March and May will be the official Butterbeer Season at Universal Hollywood. This season will celebrate the different versions of Butterbeer from the original to the ice cream version.
Universal Fan Fest Nights
Universal Fan Fest nights are officially returning in 2026. The event runs on select dates between April 23rd to May 16th. Ticket prices vary based on the date of the event. There is also a complimentary medallion that you can get if you pre-purchase your Fan Fest tickets. This medallion is available until January 14th, 2026, as supplies last.
Pass Member Special Event & Giveaway
Details for the event haven’t been announced yet, but the event will run from May to June of 2026. The giveaway will be in May and will only be available for a limited time. However, no details on what this special Universal trinket will be.
Mega Movie Summer
After the success of the inaugural Mega Movie Summer, Universal has decided to bring it back for its second year. They will be celebrating Jaws, Back to the Future, and Jurassic World between the months of June through August.
4th of July Celebration
July 2026 is the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. The event will include a fireworks show, patriotic decor, and more.
Back To Hogwarts
Back to Hogwarts is set to return in 2026 to kick off a new academic year. Show off your house pride at this returning event.
Pass Member Appreciation Days
Universal is doing two Member Appreciation Days in 2026 because one day isn’t enough to show how much they care about their members. During August and September, there will be in-park food and beverage offerings, extra discounts, and more member-exclusive benefits that still have yet to be announced.
Halloween Horror Nights 2026
As tradition, Universal Studios Hollywood will transform into Halloween Horror Nights again in 2026. Exact dates haven’t been announced, but it will run on select nights from September 3rd to November 1st.
Pass Member Collectible Giveaway
In November, there will be another collectible giveaway. No word on what the limited-edition collectible will be yet, but we will keep you informed once it is announced.
Holidays at Universal
From November through December, it will be time to spread some holiday cheer at Universal Studios Hollywood. With decorations, shows, and special character encounters, there is something for everyone.
Pass Member Holiday Park Takeover
Another way Universal is celebrating the holidays is with Pass Member Holiday Park Takeover. An exclusive after-hours event for Pass Members to enjoy the park. No exact dates are announced, but these will be coming in the month of December.
EVE
December 31st, 2026, will be the final event of the year with the annual New Year’s Eve party. This family-friendly event will have everything you need to ring in the new year with DJs, dance floors, fireworks, and extended park hours.
