ESPN Unlimited Content Will Become Available Directly on YouTube TV

Content from Disney’s new direct-to-consumer ESPN Unlimited app will soon become available directly to YouTube TV subscribers.

ESPN Unlimited on YouTube TV

After a two week blackout, Disney and YouTube TV struck a deal that includes ESPN Unlimited access to YouTube TV base-plan subscribers. This goes beyond just access to the app, however.

According to Awful Announcing and Cinemablend, ESPN Unlimited content will be available directly on the YouTube TV interface by the end of 2026. This means users won’t have to switch back and forth between apps, they can just watch ESPN content straight from YouTube TV.

A more specific timeline for this update hasn’t been announced as Disney and YouTube TV still need to figure out the technological details.

The deal also includes the Disney+ and Hulu bundle as part of “select YouTube offerings” and certain networks on “genre-specific packages.” Cord Cutters News noted these genre packages could include a sports-only bundle.
