Boat transportation to Disney’s Wilderness Lodge will be temporarily suspended in January 2026 for a refurbishment.
Wilderness Lodge Boat Dock Closing Temporarily
Disney has posted the following notice about refurbishing the dock from January through early April 2026. Boat transportation will only be suspended from January 12 through 30.
From Jan. 12, 2026, through early April 2026, the boat dock at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge will undergo routine maintenance. The dock will be closed and boat transportation temporarily suspended from Jan. 12–30.
Recently, Disney changed boat service to Disney’s Wilderness Lodge and Disney’s Fort Wilderness, consolidating them to one water taxi route instead of two separate routes. Disney’s Contemporary Resort is added to the route in the afternoons.
