Walt Disney Presents in Disney’s Hollywood Studios has debuted a brand new holiday exhibit featuring costumes and props from The Muppet Christmas Carol and other films.

Walt Disney Presents is located between Animation Courtyard and Pixar Plaza, behind Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway. The marquee has been updated to advertise the new holiday offerings.

In addition to the Disney Takes A Holiday exhibit, a Santa Claus meet and greet is inside and the theater is now showing continuous holiday shorts.

The holiday exhibit is in the area closest to the theater entrance. A “Disney Takes A Holiday” backdrop is set up with a red bench, so guests can look like they’re enjoying a snowy night by the fire, perfect for a Christmas card.

The Santa Clause

One display case features costumes and props from The Santa Clause. There are famous looks worn by Tim Allen as Santa, as well as David Krumholtz as Bernard and Paige Tamada as Judy the Elf. These were designed by Carol Ramsey and Ingrid Ferrin.

A Christmas tree adorned with letters for Santa is at the back of the display.

The first “A” page of the naughty and nice list sits in a red letter box.

Babes in Toyland

Babes in Toyland is a 1961 film based on Victor Herbert’s operetta. This display case features photos, collectibles, and artwork for the film.

Mother Goose’s nursery rhymes pop off the page in this colorful Christmas adventure following Mary Contrary (Annette Funicello) and Tom Piper (Tommy Sands) as they get ready for their wedding day. But while wedding bells are ringing, the villainous Barnaby (Ray Bolger) is scheming up a plan to marry Miss Contrary himself! In a series of comic chases, Mary and Tom find themselves in an enchanted realm called Toyland. With the aid of new friends, the Toymaker (Ed Wynn), and his fleet of Toy Soldiers, the love birds devise a plan to take down Barnaby and ensure a holiday happily ever after.

Instead of props, the display features toys like dolls and board games inspired by the film.

There’s an old storybook, comic book, and record.

Noelle

Noelle is a 2019 Disney+ original starring Anna Kendrick as Noelle Kringle and Bill Hader as Nick Kringle. Two of Kendrick’s Noelle costumes are in this display. They were designed by Gary Jones.

In the center is The Book of Santa and the naughty and nice list scroll, in front of a Christmas tree.

The Muppet Christmas Carol

Some classic Muppet costumes from The Muppet Christmas Carol are in this case alongside images from the 1992 film.

The Charles Dicken’s costume worn by The Great Gonzo is alongside Rizzo the Rat’s costume.

In the lower corner is Tiny Tim’s costume, worn by Robin, and Bob Cratchit’s costume worn by Kermit. All were designed by Polly Smith.

There’s also a model of one of the village house sets scene in the film.
