Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge is now decorated for the 2025 holiday season. Two trees, lots of garland, and a new gingerbread animal add to the decor.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge Decorated
The Jambo House Entrance sign and resort bus stop location has added garland.
The columns of the porte-cochère are decorated with green décor featuring bows with African-style prints and plants.
Wreaths, including this one above the entryway, feature similar decorations. All the décor is strung with yellow lights.
A smaller tree (when compared to the main lobby tree of Jambo House below) is located neat the windows overlooking the Savanna.
The tree in the center of the lobby almost touches the ceiling, reaching up four stories.
Garlands hang every few feet from the railings overlooking the lobby.
2025 Gingerbread Display
The gingerbread animals are behind ropes in a rocky area of the resort lobby. A sign reads:
Our Gingerbread is a seven-foot-tall tower of gingerbread, sugar dough, and modeling chocolate. Look closely and you might spot one of the many animals that call this lodge home, each one hand-sculpted by our pastry team.
Debra the Zebra, modeled after our zebra Debra from the Savannah, has been a favorite of our pastry team for the past 20 years. This year, Debra is joined by a few friends, including Frankie the Sloth, modeled after our three-toed sloth from the Keith family’s adoption of Frankie the sloth.
New this year, Rustie the River Hog joins the holiday menagerie!
Last year, Francisco the Flamingo was added to the display. This year, a tiny River Hog named Rustie has joined the group, and we love him as much as you do.
The entire display is made up of these ingredients:

- 1 Pound Simple Syrup
- 1.5 Pounds of Gingerbread Spice
- 12 Pounds of Dark Modeling Chocolate
- 1 Dozen Eggs
- 27 Pounds of Flour

The ornament resembles the exterior of Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. Simba wearing a wreath and other savanna animals surround the resort’s logo.
Pin – $22.99
The pin features the same design.
