American Flags at Walt Disney World Flying Half-Staff

Former Vice President Dick Cheney passed away on November 3, 2025. He was the 46th Vice President of the United States from 2001 to 2009 under President George W. Bush.

President Trump has ordered all American Flags throughout the U.S. to half-staff November 4, 2025 through interment (unknown) to honor Vice President Dick Cheney.
Though Disney is private property, they usually do follow federal flag proclamations. This morning, our reporters are at both Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom, and both flags outside the park are at half-staff.

Other recent examples of the flags at Walt Disney World being flown at half-staff includes the passing of Charlie Kirk, the passing of Pope Francis, and the passing of President Jimmy Carter.
