Ahead of Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, which is having a daytime performance at the Magic Kingdom today for filming, a small pre-parade took place with some of your favorite Disney Villains.
Disney Villains Pre-Parade
Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade is having a rare daytime performance today for filming of ABC’s 40th Anniversary Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade special. As a surprise, there was a small pre-parade at 1:45pm ET of Disney Villains, complete with a rare character and even its own float.

Leading the way are the Card Soldiers from Alice in Wonderland.

Of course, the Queen of Hearts wasn’t far behind.

Following behind is Cruella de Vil, being driven by her henchmen, Jasper and Horace Badun.

Ursula and Dr. Facilier make an appearance as well.

Lady Tremaine followed behind, along with Anastasia and Drizella.

Gaston, Captain Hook, and Mr. Smee were also in the parade.

Rare character The Bowler Hat Guy from Meet the Robinsons was also included.

Following the characters on the ground was a float with Maleficent. She stands upon a tower with Chernobog behind her.

On the opposite side of Maleficent’s float was the Evil Queen, from Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, with the Magic Mirror lurking behind her.

Disney Villains Land and Unfairly Ever After

Disney Villains have experienced a surge in popularity at the Disney Parks. Last year, the Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade special aired a commercial teasing the upcoming Disney Villains land at Magic Kingdom; Imagineers later shared talked about the design inspiration for the land at Destination D23 in August 2025.

A new live show, Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After, debuted at Magic Kingdom this summer in the Sunset Showcase Theater and has several performances daily. Here’s Tom’s honest review of the show.
