BREAKING: Disney Cascade of Lights Nighttime Show Announced with Revolutionary New Air & Sea Drones

In 2026, the new Adventure Bay area at Disneyland Paris will debut new attractions and a new nighttime spectacular: Disney Cascade of Lights. WDW News Today got a first look at what this new show will look like.

Disney Cascade of Lights

In its first-ever nighttime spectacular, Adventure Bay in Disney Adventure World (the soon-to-be renamed Walt Disney Studios Park) will brighten up the water with an imaginative water and drone show. According to Disney, Disney Cascade of Lights will be “an invitation for every guest to believe in their own strength, to embrace wonder, and to feel the power of storytelling in a way only Disney can deliver.”

Cascade of Lights is designed using water barges in a 360-degree configuration. This layout will allow guests from any point of the bay to experience the show. In addition to water screens, choreographed fountains, large-scale projections, dynamic lighting, special effects, and pyrotechnics, the show will also feature first-of-its-kind aquatic drones in addition to aerial drones.

A range of beloved Disney and Pixar characters and stories will take part in the show. These include the Avengers, Mulan, Hercules, Moana, and characters from Up and Zootopia. A rendering of the show’s infrastructure also hints at Avatar.

With its multitude of effects, Cascade of Lights will be a unique entertainment offering among Disney parks. Chief among them are the 379 drones created by Disney and Dronisos exclusively for the new show.

In addition to its visual splendor, the show will be highlighted by a musical score recorded by a 90-piece orchestra. Guests can enjoy new arrangements of beloved songs, including an original adaptation of “How Far I’ll Go” from Moana and the show’s original anthem “We Can Be Heroes.”

The show is expected to debut with the opening of the Adventure Bay expansion, which includes World of Frozen, in March 2026.
